James Tenney’s In a Large, Open Space is an exploration and celebration of the natural phenomenon of the sound.  Organised and mentored by special guests from Montreal, Canada, Quatuor Bozzini, BMS present an immersive musical experience resonating round the space of the Berwick Parish Church. In this performance, the audience may move around the space, mingling with the musicians and the sound. The performance lasts about an hour and is free. 

This a community performance. Musicians, amateur or professionals, who play sustaining instruments (strings, winds, brass, ...) are welcome to join this performance.
